Geezus. RT @MichaelDavSmith: The 2-9 Jets are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. The 2-9 Buccaneers are 2 games out of first place

Sanchez with 8 in 3.5 games RT @greggrosenthal: The Eagles lead the league in giveaways. Last team to make playoffs and do that: ’03 Rams.
Manish left this out of all his praise Sanchez pieces.

Ryan Spadola WR was just released by the Falcon's practice squad. The "next Wayne Chrebet" has been having trouble finding a team.

Just sucks Sparano, Brian Shott, and Marty could t figure it out, because we all know Rex hardly knows anything going on on that side of the ball.

I like Sanchez so I hope he does well, but some people are in for a rude awakening. But, if I'm wrong I will be happy for Sanchez

He still turns over the ball almost 3 times per game; so I agree, the Eagles fans will eventually get sick of him being just good enough to get them to the play-offs and then his 1-2 big TOs prevent them from getting any further.
He'll be in GB or Seattle at some and his brand of football cant win in the play-offs on the road, IMO, even if it did here, I dont think the Eagles D is ours to cover his warts; but if he turns his career around, good for him.
He's a free agent this spring...

While watching the Iron Bowl (Alabama/Auburn) last night, it really pissed me off when Brent Musberger kept making snide remarks about Rex & the Jets. The one comment that I thought was really not called for, was Brent saying the Jets are having an open audition for a new HC. Until Rex is terminated, he is still the HC of the Jets, and I thought his comments were disrespectful. Call the plays on the field Brent, and leave your opinions @ home.
Speaking of the Iron Bowl, I would welcome Amari Cooper WR with our #1 pick over Mariota or Winston.

Idzik draftee Brandon Dixon with an interception today. Wish we were able to hide him on PS, too bad Bucs snatched him away.

The Giants spent over $100 million in free agency this offseason and have one more win than we do. Spending money doesn't fill holes. Spending money wisely does.

I'm sure there are worse things in this league than getting MURDERED 52-0.
I'm just not sure exactly what could be worse.
Nice job, Raiders.

Wonder if Coughlin is gone after this year?
The Mary's seem to like guys with previous head coaching experience or offensive coordinators, so Gary Kubiak, Pep Hamilton, Darrell Bevell, Greg Roman, Adam Gase, Hue Jackson, all seem like good possibilities

I just don't see Cowher coming back. He has a new life.......new wife in the music business and a cushy tv job........why would he subject himself to the daily grind of NY area media/fans? Nothing from anyone surrounding him even whispers of a desire to return to that life. What exactly is intriguing about the Giants at THIS point? Eli is a mess......I actually do not see him as an attraction but rather a deterrent. You can't just cut him, so they will extend his deal and he will continue to be the mediocre QB he always has been.
Now of course the possibility exists that Cowher can't control his competitive juices and needs the ego fix, but I think we would've have heard that by now.
Lastly, he's been away from the game a bit too much and never was Lombardi.

What do you think Hobson?

According to @BovadaLv Jim Harbaugh at 2:1 and Les Miles at 5:2 are favorites for Michigan job. Greg Schiano is 9:2.

I have no doubt that he will be offered the job. The question is would he take it? Has he had enough of the NFL life? With a college job, he pretty much has the level of control that he is rumored to crave. But could he leave the NFL without feeling that he has unfinished business in not winning the Super Bowl? He got close a couple of times and, as it appears he is a hyper-competitive person, I'm not sure he could just walk away.
Now as a Golden Gopher fan, I don't want him anywhere near Michigan or any other Big 10 team.

I'd be thrilled with Harbaugh (either one), happy with Miles, sick to my stomach with Schiano.
as to Harbaugh (Jim), it basically comes down to does he want to go to michigan or stay in the pros. the job is basically his for the taking. lots of chatter on michigan that there's a good chance, despite various reports (schefter, mike and mike, etc...) saying he is staying in pros.
