Matt Schaub - QB - Raiders
The Raiders can clear $5.5 million in cap space by cutting Matt Schaub.
In other words, the Raiders will be cutting Schaub. His salary can/will come off the books 100 percent clean, with no dead money left behind. Four months shy of his 34th birthday, Schaub said last season that he planned to continue playing in 2015, but he won't be gifted anyone's No. 2 job. Both his physical skills and confidence have eroded with alarming speed.

    Geno/Shaub or Fitzpatrick/Mariota

That's called some options at QB for now and the future.

John Abraham - LB - Cardinals
XTRA 910 Arizona's Mike Jurecki "hears" impending free agent John Abraham is "50-50" about continuing his playing career.
Abraham, 37 in May, has been working out, but has yet to make a decision. That will likely hinge on whether Abraham draws any interest on the open market after his 2014 season was ended in Week 1 thanks to his latest concussion. Abraham recorded 11.5 sacks in 2013 to lead the Cardinals.

As @VicTafur said, and per a source, Seahawks LBs coach Ken Norton is going to Oakland to be Jack Del Rio's defensive coordinator.

Actually, that sounds an awful lot like subjective journalism to me. How does he know Schaub's "confidence has eroded?" And his physical skills cannot be fairly assessed considering the Raiders were going with Carr the minute they drafted him. Schaub needs a true QB competition, somewhere like the Jets.

According to the Buffalo News, the Bills are on the verge of signing Incognito, an offensive guard. Ryan, the Jets' former coach, appears to be the driving force behind the signing.

Incognito will visit the Bills' facility Saturday for a physical, but according to the Buffalo News, "the physical is a formality" and "Incognito will join the Bills." ... The newspaper cited a source close to Ryan. Moreover, according to the paper, "The source added that Ryan considered Incognito a high-priority acquisition."

Rex says the '15 Bills are going to run a "ground & pound" offense - moving in that direction. Their OL needs a BIG upgrade for that to happen.

Greg Hardy DE 6'4"/275 Panthers trial starts tomorrow in Charlotte. He will become a high free agent target because of his sacking ability as a 4-3 DE. He wears the black all over his face with white contacts, he's a wild man !

He lost his first trial and his attorney wanted a jury trial. He played one game last year, because owner Jerry Richardson was getting heat, so they paid Hardy $750K per game to stay home. I know the players union has power, but to pay a guy that much after beating up his girlfriend is ludicrous !

Anywho, Greg Hardy will be a sought after free agent.
