@RichCimini The Jets will have to trade up to get Mariota or Winston, will they do so or settle for a less talented QB? #jetsmail

@RichCimini: You're right, they will probably have to trade up to get Marcus Mariota, assuming he turns pro. The demand for Mariota will be high, because two other teams in the projected top 5 figure to be in the quarterback market -- the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans. The team that trades out of the No. 1 or No. 2 spot will make a killing. At this point, it's impossible to predict the Jets' interest in Jameis Winston because of his off-the-field issues. Clearly, he's a blue-chip talent, but his baggage could cause him to drop. He could be sitting there for the Jets and, man, wouldn't that be compelling theater? After Mariota and Winston, there is a big fall-off to Brett Hundley, but things could change with the bowl games, all-star games and pre-draft workouts. Typical Jets luck; they get a high draft pick and one of the top quarterbacks happens to be a knucklehead.
