Coates is way too low on that list, even though I was underwhelmed with his play in the Senior Bowl

It's rare indeed to have consecutive classes at any position to be quite literally "historically good", but it appears the WR classes of 2014 & 2015 may actually fill all the requirements.
It's too early to call yet but the advent of Spread Offenses in the NFL combined with the rules favoring offensive production does seem to be upholding the translation of Spread Offense college WRs into NFL action these days.

How well would several of them translate to high-quality NFL receivers if the old rules were still in effect and defenders had a prayer against them, is hard to say.
I suspect it would take down a few of the smaller ones but the typical incoming NFL rookie WR these days is a LOT more physical than they were in the past, in part because NFL teams are making a point of combating the larger and stronger NFL CBs that have been coming into the league as well.

A 6'-1" CB used to be a freak of nature, now almost every team has at least a couple.
    Shikken or the egg?
This is a lot like college basketball players choosing the football route into professional sports to expand their options.
Bigger and faster TEs means you have to start developing the same sort of talent at LB to be able to defend against them, so the NFL is starting to see a lot more bad-hands hoops players appearing as LBs to physically counter the move to those college round ball player TEs & bigger slot receiver types that weigh over 210#.

The game breathes, it lives and adapts.
Some day the pendulum may swing back to smaller, quicker, better route-runner receivers, but I wouldn't count on it anytime soon with the caliber of athletes we're seeing at DB these days.

Sarge, Sammy Coates is a top 5 WR no doubt. The list above is not in any type of ranking.

If Cooper is a Raider before our pick, I could live with Kevin White even though he's projected in the 10-20 range. The mystery pick will be Green-Beckham

DG-B is SUCH a wild card, isn't he?
He could be the next Dez, the next Megatron, or he could be the next Josh Gordon.
The GM that drafts him will get my respect for the size of his cohones, if he spends a pick higher than the middle of Rd 2 on him - because it's what HYATT™ would certainly do if my franchise was starving for a TRUE #1 WR.
