Amari Cooper would look good in Green and White

Decker, Cooper, Harvin, Kerley, Graham......that aint 1/2 bad right there!

    Here's my current mini mock

Oakland - Leonard Williams DL USC
Jacksonville - Marcus Mariotta QB Oregon
Tampa - Jameis Winston QB FSU
Tennessee - Randy Gregory DE Nebraska
Jets - The obvious pick at this point is Amari Cooper, but to avoid being called a homer, I will go with OLB Vic Beasley

I can't see the Jag's giving up on Bortles ?
    Raiders - Gregory DE
    Jags - Williams DE
    Buc's - Mariotta QB
    Titans - Winston QB
    Jets - Cooper WR

You know Rex loves Vic Beasley being a Clemson Tiger; however, I just don't see the Jets going defense first again.

Jax just took Bortles. I can't see them taking a QB with a high 1st this year

Dang, I totally flaked on that.......we might be in position to move up to 2 if we want one of the presumptive big 2 QBs, not saying we will or that it's even certain we will pick 5

Cooper or OL for me......both will grade out higher than Winston or Mariota. Mariota isn't even a top 10 value. He can't start from day one unless Chip Kelley gets him.

It might be a good thing the draft has moved to Chicago this year, because "IF" Idzik were to draft an OL with the 1st round pick, there might be a riot in Radio City Music Hall !

I think OL would be the "safest" pick; however, we need to load up with the best offensive weapons we can get for our new QB ? Plus with Harvin's health issues, Amari Cooper WR would be great insurance.

Thank goodness the raiders won thursday night. Inches us closer to over taking their draft position.

Tennessee, Oakland, Tampa Bay, Will be team vying for the services of Marcus Mariota. Other teams that will draft high will be looking to fortify other positions as they already have set signal callers, and their franchises are well invested in them i might add which include:

    Giants
    Carolina
    Washington
    Jacksonville

There is absolutley no reason to win any more games for us this season, if they do, especially if Geno gets back under the helm will be purely fools gold, as dictated and demonstrated by the late season performance of '13.

With all that being said, the Raiders by far have the toughest remaining schedule out of them all and see them going 2-14 easy. Tennessee also having the second toughest schedule though i think they may win another one making them 3-13, especially if they beat us (hopefully).
Then you got Tampa Bay who is an anomaly. They can go either way and i'am going to say they'll go 4-12.

As A_holes as the Jets front office and coaching staff are, they will some how "PLAY HARD" for their coach in which means absolutley nothing only messing their chances at a high draft pick in selecting Marcus Mariota. I see the Jets, UNFORTUNATLEY going 6-10. 6th or 7th over all.

With that being said, the Jets must trade up and make a deal with Jax especially if they're selecting #1 over all. It's time for the Jets to start making bold decisions to change the mediocrity that Rex and company has made this franchise out to be.

Oakland -WILL trade back to #9 and get an additional Rd 2-#41 + Rd 5-#109-ish in return. Jeff Fisher drafts his Air McNair replacement in Jameis Winston.

Jacksonville - WILL trade back a couple spots as well, (HYATT™ believes either #4 TEN or #5 NJJ win the bid), gaining an additional early Rd 2 pick and at least another early 3rd or 4th rounder as well.

Both teams are going to be in the middle of a feeding frenzy and the last one to blink is actually going to get the better offer because they'll then have the ONLY remaining viable QB draft slot.

Tampa - Hundley, Mannion, & Petty stock is falling faster than Enron shares. Trampa, if they cannot secure one of the top 2 picks, will go a different route - either pass rusher or LT. They are in no big hurry since they aren't even close to being a contender for a couple years at least.
HYATT™ wouldn't be shocked to see Trampa fall back to accumulate extra picks as well.

No other QB will be drafted before #15 when Buffalo takes a shot at Mannion, Prescott, or Hundley.

JAX & the loser in the QB bidding takes either a WR or a pass rusher here.

3-4 QB's stocks always rise as the draft approaches, but not sure about those projections. Can't see Mannion going anywhere in the first round, or even the second, frankly. You look past his size and arm and wonder what's going on between the ears. He's been out-played by the opposing QB almost every week this year. Just isn't have the kind of productivity he needed this season. Petty has also been a bit of a let-down. He looks like a 2nd round QB to me. Too inconsistent. Hundley could sneak into the top 15. He had a good game yesterday and overall a very solid statistical season. Biggest plus is the consistency, biggest minus is the reliance on his feet, which he won't be able to fall back on in the NFL, plus the fact he put up all those stats in the PAC-12, where everyone plays a base Cover-No One defense.

I think Oakland is going to ride Carr for at least another year. They really like him. If the Raiders can manage to stop playing "winners of FA", signing a bunch of over-the-hill has-been's, and start building that team through the draft, then Carr will have a chance to be a pretty good QB in this league.

So I don't expect the Raiders to draft a QB in the first round. I can see the Jets making a trade with them to move up a few spots for Mariota.

So much will depend on who the coach is. If it's Pep Hamilton, trading up for a QB MIGHT be a viable option. If it's Bevell, we might go OL or WR

If it's Quinn or Bowles, we might be more likely to go BAA

All that's conjecture/speculation in on my part of course

winston in NYC is a disaster waiting to happen. an immature (albeit talented) QB who will be thrust into position of being the "savior" of the jets franchise, under the glare of the jackals in the local media. what could go wrong... Shocked

If we hire Pep Hamilton, Greg Roman, or Darrell Bevell, sign me up for Jameis Winston, if we go Dan Quinn or Todd Bowles (both if who I like a lot) then maybe Winston is not as good a choice. Hamilton, Roman, and Bevell are proven in working with young QBs
