Rex is hiring the guy who was the "unnamed source" that threw Cutler under the bus in Chicago. This will work out well affraid .

The #Bills are closing in on hiring former #Bears OC Aaron Kromer as OL coach, source says. Rex’s staff is coming together

    Anthony Lynn - C - Jets
Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn is interviewing for the Jaguars open offensive coordinator position on Saturday.
Lynn joins a long list that includes former Buffalo OC Nathaniel Hackett and Raiders OC Greg Olson. No favorites have emerged for Jacksonville, but it would be surprising if Lynn was chosen over candidates with NFL play-calling experience. Lynn is expected to meet with the Browns during the Senior Bowl next week.

Commenting on Rex's hire of Kromer.

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want my team to hire a coach who was caught and admitted to shredding his QB to the media.

LOL, She's already spent that 4 million, she's looking for the bigger prize, like what Rex just signed for in Buffalo ! Mallone might have made the biggest blunder by a HC ever ? He took the Bills to their first winning record @ 9-7 in years, the players, fans & new owners loved him, and he opts out of his deal because he wanted the Jets job. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.

JMO but I don't think Marrone has seen his last HCing gig. I think he finds something to do this year TV or an asst somewhere and his name is back on lists in 2016

Sammy Watkins is too talented to let any coach bring him down. I would love Ricky Proehl who's the WR coach of the Panthers. Great player and future great coach.

Thank you Rex for doing what I asked. You really didn't learn a damn thing did you?

Oh well, the better for us.

BTW: did anyone else see the report that Rex threw away all of his Jeys paraphanelia? If so, BLEEP YOU Rex. It was your own fault. If erroneous, then "never mind"

Marc Trestman - OT - Free Agent
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Raiders will interview ex-Bears coach Marc Trestman for their offensive-coordinator vacancy.
The Raiders join the Browns and Jaguars as clubs interested in Trestman. All three teams have second-year quarterbacks for 2015. Trestman was the Raiders' offensive play-caller from 2001-2003. He and Adam Gase have been names linked to the Raiders' OC job under new head coach Jack Del Rio.

    Adam Gase - C - Broncos
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Raiders and Bears have also been granted permission to interview Adam Gase for their offensive-coordinator vacancies.
It makes sense, as ex-Broncos coach John Fox and ex-Broncos DC Jack Del Rio are the new head coaches for Chicago and Oakland, respectively. Gase has now been connected to the Bears, Raiders, Rams, Jaguars, and Falcons' OC openings, and is still in contention for the Broncos' head-coaching job.

    Adam Gase - C - Broncos
The Jaguars will interview Adam Gase for their offensive-coordinator vacancy.
Gase is the seventh candidate to interview with Jacksonville. He continues to draw heavy interest as one of the top coordinators available. Gase has also been linked to the Falcons and Rams, and interviewed for the Broncos' head-coaching job earlier this week.

    Mike Mularkey - C - Titans
The Titans have denied the Bears permission to interview TEs coach Mike Mularkey for their offensive-coordinator vacancy.
Mularkey was also blocked from interviewing with the Bucs. It's a blessing in disguise for Chicago, as Mularkey's conservative play-calling would have made him a questionable hire. The Bears are expected to interview ex-49ers DC Vic Fangio and former Raiders coach Dennis Allen for their defensive-coordinator job this weekend.

    And this idiot:

Trent Richardson - RB - Colts
Updating a previous item, Trent Richardson missed the Colts' Saturday morning walkthrough and wasn't allowed to travel with the team to New England.
The Colts left him at home in Indianapolis instead of bringing him to New England for the AFC title game. He'll be inactive for the second consecutive game. It's not a good combination to suck at football and miss team meetings ahead of the biggest game of the season. T-Rich will get to watch the game from his couch like the rest of us. Zurlon Tipton will back up workhorse Boom Herron.

Yes, and that loyalty is a blind spot that he pays for, over and over again, because he refuses to hold people, starting with himself, accountable for results. This is Rex's biggest flaw--he turns a virtue (loyalty) into a vice (self-serving loyalty). It's a form of the "loyalty" that serves as the bedrock of the mafia, political parties, and other criminal organizations.

Gary Kubiak - OT - Ravens
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Ravens OC Gary Kubiak intends to take the Broncos' head-coaching job if it's offered to him.
This has been the feeling around the league, and it's been crystal-clear to everyone. GM John Elway has been poking around other candidates, though some have even canceled interviews because they see the writing on the wall with Kubiak. Elway and Kubiak are very close. Kubiak coached Elway in the late 1990s.

    Lane Kiffin - C - Player
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Alabama OC Lane Kiffin is a "front-runner" for the 49ers' offensive-coordinator vacancy.
Kiffin, 39, is coming off a wildly successful first season as the Crimson Tide's play-caller, finishing 3rd in the SEC in total offense and 17th in the nation. Kiffin hasn't been in the NFL since a disaster 20-game stint as the Raiders' head coach from 2007-2008 when he went 5-15. He'd be a very intriguing hire for the 49ers.
    Related: 49ers

    Bill Musgrave - C - Eagles
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Eagles QBs coach Bill Musgrave is a "hot contender" for the Raiders' offensive-coordinator vacancy.
Disgusting. Musgrave proved to be as unimaginative as they come when he was the Vikings' OC under HC Leslie Frazier. He had no idea how to use Percy Harvin. The Vikings finished 18th, 20th, and 13th in total offense under Musgrave from 2011-2013 despite having Harvin and Adrian Peterson. Musgrave was new Raiders coach Jack Del Rio's OC in Jacksonville from 2003-2004.

    Dan Quinn - C - Seahawks
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Falcons have "privately told people their plan" is to hire Seahawks DC Dan Quinn as head coach.
The Falcons have waited this long, so they may as well keep sitting on their hands. They'll interview Quinn again on Monday no matter if the Seahawks win or lose on Sunday. If the Seahawks win, they'll have two weeks before the Super Bowl and will be able to talk to Quinn this upcoming week. It'd be tough to wait another two weeks to formally announce the hire because Quinn may have a tough time assembling a coaching staff after the "free agent" coaches have been picked through, but Falcons brass appears ready to remain patient. Quinn and Lions DC Teryl Austin are believed to be the only real candidates for the job.

Well, the hate spewed here about an unfortunate event is obviously due to your Bama bias.

However, PFT and Rotoworld still haven't confirmed what you say but I googled it and a few twitter posts say what you posted above.

Very unfortunate his mother passed away and she didn't get to watch her son compete for a chance to go to the Super Bowl. But I'm sure that hard life and doing everything she could to help him reach his ultimate goal of being in the NFL was a tremendous reward for her tough life.

No one is reporting anything nationally I have seen, but the situation is obviously unfortunate either way and has adversely impacted Richardson. I agree, I hope she is okay.

A lot of interviews go on in Mobile during Senior Bowl week. There's a big hotel downtown called the Riverview Plaza where most people stay - it's a beehive of hiring intrigue for 1 week. Hopefully, the Jets staff will be filled by the end of the week before the whole operation moves to the Super Bowl host city

The process for hiring Maccagnan and Bowles was slow. Fortunately, that meant it was a deliberate process, thorough. That may be the case here, as well.

I dont think its slow...look at this opening which has been open for some time. Martz, Lynn, etc are looking at the Cleveland OC job and yet to fill the role. Look at DC in Washington, HC in Atlanta, a lot of opening right now. We just hired our GM, HC, DC, now we're on to OC and ST coaches...its a process. It seemed to me Gailey was still in negotiations. I still think it will be him.
