He has some history with Gailey. They were both on the Steelers staff a few years

wow...that's quite a coup to get april for STs. oddly, his son was on rex's staff, and i think part of the northerly migration to buffalo. april overlapped bowles in philly for a bit, so i guess there's a link between them.

I'm glad Dorrell will be WR coach - as I said before, I would have been less happy if he was QB coach, but at WR, he is a HUGE upgrade over the previous coach whose name will go forever unspoken

Robbie Brown the offensive quality control guy is very sharp. South Alabama coach Joey Jones like him and I'm sure he hates to lose him. Brown was a QB at Georgia Tech when Gailey was the HC

Bobby April's returners have 21 TDs in his 23 seasons as coach, incl 5 by BUF in '04 when he got 1st of 2 NFL ST Coach of the Year awards.

according to the jets website, Danna is DB-Safeties coach. i assume that means they will also have a CB coach

Ryan Slowiks' name was mentioned by Jake Steinberg but he was not officially announced. His contract is probably not completed yet. It may be him.

Buffalo got Mr. Goodtime Charlie in Rex Ryan. It will be utopian for a while, until the games actually start. That's when all the pre-snap penalties, 12 men on the field, and player's calling time out's instead of coaches will begin.

But hey, you'll get to ditch Saturday-before-the-game meetings to go to Dave and Buster's.

Any word on all the field scouts across the Country ? I think we have already lost Aaron Glenn in the Texas area. Did they all get canned with Jeff Bauer & Bradway ?

according to the twitter feed on the side of the board, the jets have hired pepper johnson as d-line coach. he was just a finalist to be the giants DC and has a lot of experience coaching the d-line (mostly with NE, and most recently in buffalo). hated losing dunbar, but this is a nice replacement

Very happy with the selections and Bowles comments about being accountable and playing smart. About * Time.... and I am looking forward to become a "consistently good FB team."
