When is it the coach and when is it the players?

#Jets have established a long tradition of losing on a cover zero blitz here with Rex. Cruz. Tebow. Wright.

I like Rex and still think he's a great defensive coach. He's done a good job altering his schemes a little this season to minimize our weak cornerbacks. BUT, we would probably benefit from a change of philosophy on defense, too. The blitz schemes are amazing and creative, but we need a little less riverboat gambler stuff

Poor Rex. If only the jets would've invested in some db's for him to make his precious scheme work .

Since 2010, #Jets have drafted 7 DBs including 4 taken between rounds 1-3. 3/6 of Idzik picks between rounds 1-3 have been DBs

If Woody allows Rex to let him anywhere near the field Sunday it just reinforces my feeling he is a clueless fool.

Quinton Coples finished this season with a career high 6.5 sacks. Came on late when moved strictly to the defensive line #Jets






If we go to a 4-3, Coples will be amazing at DE

I don't even pretend to know as much about defensive schemes and player fits as the professionals. But I've never been a fan of switching d-linemen into OLB's, or vice versa. Coples belongs on the line.

I think Bowles will make better use of Coples and we will see a lot of multiple fronts but I do think our base D will remain 3-4
