Dan Quinn Seattle DC
Todd Bowles Arizona DC
Tom Cable Ex Oakland HC
Frank Reich Chargers OC
Gary Kubiak Ex Texans HC
Probably not an exhaustive list, but who would you pick from that group?

The myopic HC ship has sailed with Rex, and thank God Woody will try not to repeat that mistake. That's probably why he will be accompanied by two experienced GMs in the interviewing process for both HCs and GMs.

I can't stand Kubiak.......I saw his dumbass expressions on the sideline with HOU once too often. Not a guy I envision as a leader.
CAble? Couldn't believe I heard that name. This guy had all kinds of demons while in Oakland. Pass.

not sure what you mean by specialists not making the cut.
most coaches come up through the ranks as either an offensive or defensive coach, usually rising to the rank of coordinator before getting a head coaching gig.
unless we are going the retread route, it will be hard to hire a coach that doesn't either specialize on offense or defense. and even the retread coaches like kubiak or billick had an expertise on one side of the ball.

Frank Reich intriguing name on Jets' HC list. Very smart, good exp. Would get stamp of approval from @7BOOMERESIASON, old college roommie

A name I did not expect to see but I have to admit someone who intrigues me.

Kubiak and Cable are experienced guys with offensive backgrounds. Kubiak is a bit more of a offensive mastermind type - he has a system that work for him and would work for our personnel. Cable would bring some old school physicality to the team. But Quinn and Bowles are my top 2 from that list even though we need offense
