Rex your defense isn't good enough to defer.

I do not understand how you can rush 3 and allow a man to get as wide open as Thomas was on that first play.

3-0 could be worse especially after the 1st play

Like beating a drum, but Idzik left us so exposed in the secondary.

Wow. This has far surpassed train wreck status. Milliner hurt yet again, then fumbling the ensuing kick.

Milliner couldn't stay healthy in college. Then they draft a guy with a bad shoulder, let Cro walk, and sign a guy that's been on 30 teams in 2 seasons. Idzik looks so assinine.

Re: Broncos at Jets 1PM Oct. 12th
First play from scrimmage, Jets rush 3, which means Manning has the better part of the first quarter to find a wide-open Demaryius Thomas for 50+ yards. I guess with only 8 guys dropping back in coverage we don't have enough guys to put someone on their biggest threat.
Is a FG there some kind of moral victory, or just a forestalling of the inevitable barrage of scoring. I say the latter.
Milliner comes off the filed with what looks like a non-contact Achilles injury.
And Powell fumbles the kickoff.

Run game going nowhere. They are going to force this guy to throw.

Re: Broncos at Jets 1PM Oct. 12th
OK, a couple points.Metjetgal wrote:Milliner couldn't stay healthy in college. Then they draft a guy with a bad shoulder, let Cro walk, and sign a guy that's been on 30 teams in 2 seasons. Idzik looks so assinine.
1. Valid critique of Milliner and his health.
2. Blaming Idzik because the guy with a bad shoulder tore his knee is pretty creative.
3. Cro looked shot last year, and honestly hasn't exactly torn it up this year.
4. Patterson's problems were injuries. When he was healthy, he was stellar. Still, legit critique.
So two of your four points are valid, and the other two are just finding inventive ways of bashing Idzik.

Why would you put an injury prone CB, your supposed number one guy, on special teams. That is just baffling.

Re: Broncos at Jets 1PM Oct. 12th
Milliner did have a lot of surgeries prior to being drafted. That has to raise some red flags, especially
being drafted that high.
being drafted that high.

Yeah, I don't think I would have done that, either.NCgreen12 wrote:Why would you put an injury prone CB, your supposed number one guy, on special teams. That is just baffling.
The Jets have special teamers starting in their secondary, and starters playing on special teams.

I would put starters on special teams but not a guy that is so so important to the defense and one that it seems is a play away from limping off the field. That is just dumb....
