I really liked Johnson coming out of college and had him in my Jets mock. He's sort of a tweener but could be 3-4 OLB - he reminds me of IK Enempkali actually, but IK was more productive against better competition in college

Antwan Barnes cut and Chris Pantale signed from practice squad. Pantale should have been the blocking TE all along instead of Cumberland.

I wonder if someone put in a claim for Pantale? Seems like an odd move

I don't think so at all, particularly with Amaro's concussion issue.  This way Cumberland is moved out of his blocking role (which he sucks at) to a more comfortable receiving role.  Barnes hasn't really done much since his return, and we need to get a look at some of the young guys like IK and Reilly in Coples' spot. Hopefully this signals a 5 week tryout for a lot of the young guys that Rex has buried behind the likes of Landry, Colon, Pace and Wilson. These guys are not the present and certainly shouldn't be holding back the possible future.

I read that Salas' hamstring injury is pretty bad, might possibly be put on IR? If so, I wonder if Enunwa will be signed to the 53 man roster.

I thought Salas looked really slow on his TD run. Sort of glad it was injury related, and not that slow.

This is what is really tipping the scale for me on the Idzik verdict at the end of the season. WHY NOT CALL UP QUINCY ENUNWA?? With the draft being so heavy with wideouts he selected 3 of them, one got cut. The other one is on I.R (and had a history with injuries) and now this one is perfectly fine yet he calls up OWUSU who got signed two weeks ago again?

The season has been a wash, why not call up Enunwa and see what he has to offer now instead of next season where he might not even make the team with a new coaching staff?!!!

He's 25 and 6'1"/210 CB from Lynchburg College in Virginia.

I have been pleasantly surprised & happy with our new free agent CB's Phillip Adams 5'11"/195 & Marcus Williams 5'11"/196. And Darrin Walls 6'/190 has played pretty well when healthy.

With Dee Milliner 6'/201 & Dexster McDougle 5'10"/196 coming back from Injured Reserve, are we in good shape going into next season, or do we need to jump into free agency or draft another CB ?

Adams and Williams are just stopgaps, IMO. I don't think there's any question we're going to explore FA and possibly the draft for a few more CB'. Especially with McDougle and Milliner coming back from significant injuries.
