The last 2 weeks these broadcasts have been a Rex love fest. It's nauseating.

Too bad another turnover pushing him further away from the QB who would be passing the ball to Cooper

Good thing you don't listen to Sirius radio, everyone from Bill Polian, Ross Tucker, Gil Brandt, Pat Kirwan, and everyone on their shows feel Rex is a Bill Parcells becoming available this winter.
I listen to them all day everyday just about, it gets painful at times...but usually you get to hear about the developments around every team. It's pretty awesome.

Geno does good, Geno does bad.
If he wants any part of being "the solution" as he said recently, that garbage has to stop.

Where was this passing game when it mattered. We are going to win this game and screw ourselves

Enemkapli looks good on kick coverage, let's see if he can get after the QB as the game goes on

Harvin out and Decker hurt - Kerley Graham, Owusu, and Enunwa are the WRs

Rex was a running joke until it became likely the Jets would fire him. Now he's a genius.Superman55 wrote:NickSINYC wrote:The last 2 weeks these broadcasts have been a Rex love fest. It's nauseating.

If history repeats itself Rex should get out coached at half time with no adjustments on our end and many on theirs that will hopefully leave us in the hunt for the 3rd pick

Re: Jets @ Dolphins Game thread
Listening to the commentary of these broadcasters, it's clear they're just part of the echo chamber of the NY tabloids otherwise known as ESPN NY and the Daily News.
I'm gonna go read the beat writer for the Jaguars, and then pretend to know what's the real source of the problems with that team.

I'll put my money on it. Tannehill appears to be loosening up our secondary a little bit. And Geno will find a way to cough up the football trying to make a play, or throw an awful pick at just the wrong (read: right) time.
Cmon Jets! You can lose this!! You can do it!

Re: Jets @ Dolphins Game thread
If he wasn't fired before, he should be fired after that play call. You have two TOs, but are inside your own 20 with less than 40 seconds left, down 3, with a QB who had a habitual turnover problem.Sarge wrote:Lets take a knee right here and go to the half
So you run a screen? Either kneel, run between the tackles, or, if you have to go for it, actually throw the ball downfield. Why risk it with a screen? That was a HORRIBLE play call.
Not to mention, a screen is great to throw over a blitz or pass rush. Miami would be sitting back in coverage in that situation.
Basically, that play call was high risk, low reward. If it was Marty's call, Rex should have overruled him. Such a terrible call.

Re: Jets @ Dolphins Game thread
Running that play was so predictable. Stuffed on 4th and 1. Miami saw that coming yesterday.
That should've been play action all the way.
