If anything, fan disapproval will have less to do with looks than personality. The big knock on Maccagnan is gonna be that he's too much of a wallflower. He's not coming out in press conferences, dazzling people with his wit, and being all buddy-buddy with the likes of Mehta and Cimini. He's got a very small margin for complete acceptance with this fan base and media. Our win-loss record will dictate which way the the love-hate dichotomy swings.

And God knows we can't alienate Manish Mehta. Or he'll sandblast you in his columns for being stubborn, close minded, (fill in the blank).

I don't have the link handy but I did read he would likely get the ax along with Bradway

Pro Scouting was worse than college scouting for us IMHO. Our free agency pick ups were BRUTAL but we did hit on a few solid draft picks

Given his history as a GM, probably not but maybe he's a good scout. But yes, the name hits too close to home.

I have no idea what role Gene Smith would play. My general opinion is that he doesn't have a good track record in Jacksonsville obviously which is a red flag. But if he is not making draft choices or evaluating talent and doing something else, he might be fine.

Maybe they need someone to clean the crapper in the executive suite

my understanding is that Bradway is currently in St Pete scouting the East/West shrine players this week.
