Didn't think this season could sink any lower, but it has tonight.

We can only hope you are right.
Also - tired of hearing the Jets are in support of Rex. Who's ever saying that may need to go also.

just sit the starting dline the rest of the game. I dont want to see richardson back in and id consider shutting down wilkerson for the year...even if he isnt hurt. This season is a waste of his prime. dont risk injury.

Looks like the Jets are taking "Suck for the Duck" seriously. At least they are doing something right.

Well at least this game wasn't on Thanksgiving.

I just want to see everyone held accountable...I know we have to wait until the end of the season. But, I just don't see why anyone in the front office or the coaching staff deserves to keep their job.

I don't think he needs any help in that regard.

The only question at this point is whether Rex gets fired tomorrow or at the end if the season

I honestly can't understand how a team can come out as flat and unprepared as this team after a bye. The offense is about as bad as can be.

I think it should be tomorrow but I have little faith in Woody letting that happen.Sarge wrote:The only question at this point is whether Rex gets fired tomorrow or at the end if the season

Good thing we had an extra week(and a day) to prepare for this game, otherwise, it would've been ugly.

I really like Todd Bowles and Dan Quinn, but we need an offensive mind as HC
So, Pep Hamilton, Greg Roman, Adam Gase, Darrell Bevell, Hue Jackson, Brian Billick, maybe a college guy like Art Briles or Kevin Sumlin...Lane Kiffin if you want to roll the dice

Also a good thing we have the extra day next week. It always makes a huge difference where Rex is concerned he makes such good use of extra timeThe Wicker Man wrote:Good thing we had an extra week(and a day) to prepare for this game, otherwise, it would've been ugly.

Why not throw a hail mary? For sh*ts and giggles? Run out of bounds?

Those who took heart from the apparent fact that "at least this team isn't 'Kotite bad'" have now lost even that quantum of solace. They are indeed that bad. Sad thing is, there are plenty of very good players; it's just a very, very bad team.

Glad that the entire Jets organization from the top on down can get together and make the entire Buffalo area feel at least a little better about their situation.
Anything bad happen in Miami the Jets can help out with next week?

prior to today, i hadn't been able to watch a jets game for over a month.
not that i was expecting much, but it was so disgusting that once the MNF game started, i stopped watching the jets to watch the saints-ravens game because i have brees as my fantasy QB

Hobson, I have only turned off one other Jet game, and that was the Butt Fumble game on Thanksgiving. This game was not as embarrassing because this team sucks, and it was not a nationally televised prime time game against our arch rival. But it was really close. Those of us on the board old enough to remember the Kotite years, and I lived in NY at the time - this feels a lot like that. No hope. No QB. The Coaching staff looks lost. The team looks defeated before they step on the field. The roster is devoid of talent at a number of positions. And the GM, well, you know my feeling there. This is a colossal mess.
Does anyone remember Jet Therapy? I think it was in the NY Post. After a Jet loss during the Kotite years, they had a psychiatrist write an article to the fans to help console them. it was hysterically funny at the time. They need to bring that back, that was good stuff.
As far as I am concerned the only therapy I will need is to see Woody clean house, and us find our franchise QB in next year's draft.
