Part of me laughted at that, and part of me saw into the very near future.

Depending on ones position on gun control and the 2nd amendment at 1st glace the report sounds bad but when looked at closer may not be all that terrible this is what happened

Johnson was pulled over after rolling through a stop sign, according to a source close to the player. Police asked to search his car, and he cooperated. His licensed and registered firearm was found under a book bag under a seat instead of locked up, resulting in the charge for "open" carrying.

It would be nice to know why the gun was in the car. Was he traveling back from a range or does he always have the gun there?

I was not in favor of CJ being on the team next year anyway so this report does not affect my position either way.

Wealthy black athletes in very expensive cars are targeted by both Cops and thugs. If you took a survey 75% carry in their car. If he had it in his glove box, and explain to the officer he's got a registered weapon in his glove box, we would not be reading this.

Personally I think Powell out played CJ this year.
