6 weeks till the bye, so that's not gonna save us.

    In those 6 games -

    SD
    Denver
    Pats
    Buff
    KC
    Pitts

Denver is the only unwinnable game there, though SD is close.

(1 min ago) Jets coach Rex Ryan said wide receiver Eric Decker was pulled from practice Thursday because of tightness in his hamstring. Ryan added the Jets were being "smart" since they "always have that concern" Decker's hamstring injury could linger, according to Newsday.
Ryan added he is hopeful Decker will play Week 5 at San Diego.

Eric Decker - WR - Jets
Eric Decker was downgraded from "limited" to "DNP" on Thursday after feeling renewed tightness in his hamstring.
This is getting ridiculous. It's gotten to the point where the Jets simply have to let Decker get some rest, but with their season on the brink at 1-3, they're still "hopeful" he can give it a go against the Chargers. "Even in a limited role, you want your best players out there," were the words of coach Rex Ryan on Thursday. If Decker does indeed suit up, he'll be a high-risk WR3 in danger of another aggravation. The situation couldn't have unfolded much worse for owners who thought they were getting a mid-round, WR2 steal in the former Bronco.

This is one of the biggest flaws with Rex as a HC. He plays guys who shouldn't be on the field. He did it with Cro, and now Milliner and Decker. Milliner covering Nelson might have cost us a win in week two.

Eric Decker - WR - Jets
Eric Decker (hamstring) remains a true game-time decision for Sunday's matchup at San Diego.
Decker's balky hamstring flared up in practice this week, failing to practice on Thursday or Friday. We won't know his official status until roughly 3:30pm ET. Even if Decker is active, we strongly try to avoid using wideouts that clearly aren't over hamstring pulls.

Eric Decker - WR - Jets
Eric Decker (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday, getting in a limited session.
The Jets did the right thing by sitting Decker out last Sunday. He'll hope to avoid setbacks this week, something Decker couldn't do in practice leading up to Week 5. Decker is tentatively on track to play against the Broncos.
