Good News WR's Draft Empty Good News WR's Draft

    Post by lnap23 Sat 3 Jan 2015 - 14:10

This years class of WR's is pretty good. Not last years class but there are some quality WR's to be had... Especially if all the rumored Jr's declare for the draft.

    First Rd guys

    Amari Cooper
    DaVante Parker
    Kevin White
    Jaleel Strong

I think Cooper and Parker could be Top 10 picks.. I kinda like Parker better.. But won't be disappointed with Cooper not even a little

If Green-Beckham comes out you can throw his name in that mix. I also think Rashad Green is a name to watch at the top of round 2. Not great size but he has tremendous field speed, off the charts route runner, and is addicted to his craft. Reminds me of guys like Rice, Carter, and Largent with his dedication to playing the position. I know how a lot of people feel about Winston and Kelvin Benjamin (the year before). But this guy is the opposite of those guys. Never been in an ounce of trouble, team leader, hardest worker on the team, heck he may be the hardest worker I've seen at FSU since Warrick Dunn. It never hurts to have a guy like that on your team.

    Agreed on Green-Beckham
Rashid Greene is a Kid I like. Here are few others I like for Rds 2-4 with the assumption the JR's are coming out

    ECU WR Justin Hardy
Watching this kid play in the bowl game now. He has good size - good speed runs great Routes and has amazing hands..

    Stanford WR - Ty Montgomery
    Auburn WR - Sammie Coates
    Michigan WR - DEvin Funchess
Fresno St WR - Josh Harper
    USC WR - Nelson Agholor
Kansas St WR - Tyler Locket.. This kid is explosive
Miami WR - Phillip Dorset - Also explosive..

there are others but these are the guys I like the most.

    Amari Cooper, please.

Teaming him with Eric Decker, along with Kerley and Amaro would be perfect. And the undrafted kid who blew it up against the Fish (Owusa?).

    We'd be set at receiver/TE.

Justin Hardy has elite hands but sub average speed. He gets run down from behind way too often. It happened today on the WR screen. He is a move the chains guy in the NFL and that is just not what we need with Decker, Amaro, and Kerley already on board.

Nelson Agholor, on the other hand, has the speed and explosion that we need. He is a VERY interesting possibility in round 2. I honestly think he will be a late riser in this process. Just so very athletic and that will show out when the combine hits.

I see Jalen Strong and maybe Davante Parker dropping if they don't run so well.

Don't sleep on Hardy the kid is a baller, but I hear ya.. Would like a burner as well.. They guy I really like in RD 3 is Phillip Dorset from Miami.. But Agholor is a good choice as well.
