Mets are unsurprisingly awful. That's what happens when you're a small market team in a big market.
Any chance we can add an NHL forum?

Granderson just struck out again......Nice guy, but he blows. Jason Bay was a nice guy, too.

I'm a huge Met fan, and can't believe they are only 4.5 games out of a Wild Card ! If they can locate a #4 power hitting OF, I think they will be real competitive next season with one of the best group of young pitchers in baseball (Harvey, Wheeler, deGroom & Syndergard), to go along with Niese & Gee . Love some of the other young players starting to contribute like Lagares, Flores, deArnoud, etc.

The future is looking good.....but, this whole "wait til next year" crap is getting old.
The pitching is looking great and we'll need to trade 1 or 2 for some hitting.

Re: MLB Regular Season Standings
Let's tip our hat to the Mets. Technically on a tie breaker, they finished 2nd in the NL East ahead of the friggin Braves, Marlins & Phillies. Based on Wilpon's cheap approach to a team payroll, that is a huge accomplishment. Can't wait until next season.
