Nick, I read that Macc wanted to clear out the entire personnel/scouting department and wanted Woody to give him an "extensive" budget to hire the people he wanted.

At this point Graves is still hanging on. I wonder if he is next out the door if Smith is hired

Well, if recent drafts are any indication, this was a no-brainer. Not enough return overall. Especially middle round draft picks. Those rounds have been inexcusably bad for years.

Nick, I don't think Pennington's shoulder was completely healed for the 2005 season and the offensive line had a ton of injuries. I think "Dinger" was in a bad spot. I liked the hire too.
