We could be waiting two more years to find our QB.
I used to like Hogan a lot, but not so much anymore. He didn't look good vs UCLA or in his bowl game last year (I was excited to see him vs Dennard).
Then you look at this year, and he's been horrible on the road with 1 TD and 3 INTs and completing 55%.
That is always telling to me of a college QB, Teddy Bridgewater suffered from this in college as well, I don't believe in college QBs that can't play on the road.
That tells me a lot about a player going against inferior talent. If you're an NFL caliber QB, you look like it no matter which parking lot the fight takes place, because you belong in the NFL, you look like it no matter where you go.
Bridgewater, Matt Barkley, and Hogan all have terrible road records and stats in college, which tells me they arent the guy you want in hostile environments or on the road in tough conditions.
There was a time that Hogan really interested me, and he has a better throwing motion than some names ahead of him (Hundley, Mariotta, etc), but I think he needs a lot of work and wouldn't be ready for prime time for a year or two, IMO.
