2015 WR Addition - Free Agency or Draft? Empty 2015 WR Addition - Free Agency or Draft?

What would you prefer, address through draft or free agency?

    Some key Free agents:

    Demaryius Thomas WR Broncos
    Michael Crabtree WR 49ers
    Torey Smith WR Balt
    Hakeem Nicks WR Colts
    Reggie Wayne WR Colts
    Dez Bryant WR Cowboys
    Reggie Cobb WR GB
    Cecil Shorts WR Jags
    Jeremy Maclin WR Eagles
    Denarius Moore WR Oak

    Some key draft eligible WRs:

    Amari Cooper WR Bama
    Ty Montgomery WR Stanford
    Jaelen Strong WR Arizona St
    Stefon Diggs WR Maryland
    Dorial Green-Beckham WR Oklahoma
    Nelson Agholar WR USC
    Devin Funchess WR Michigan
    DeVante Parker WR Louisville
    Antwan Goodley, WR, Baylor
    Rashad Greene WR FSU

Honestly, wouldn't be shocked if Idzik took a flyer on a guy like Denarius Moore who has huge upside and let him and Evans compete with a rookie from the draft (mid rds) for PT.  Should be interesting.

i doubt any of the big name potential FAs hit the market (thomas, crabtree, bryant, cobb, or t smith).  maclin could be interesting based on the MM connection.  but most likely, i don't see idzik paying up for a top tier WR after spending on decker this past off-season.  more likely, it would be a mid-tier FA signing plus draft pick(s).

Assuming we had our choice I would go Dez from FA list and I think Beckham is the top WR in college. Unfortunately there's now way Jerry let's Dez get away and I got a sneaky feeling I'm not the only guy that thinks Beckham is the top guy.

I always prefer building through the draft whenever possible.

I don't see any of these three WR's starting as our #1 WR next season. Sleep

I think it's about time that Idzik & Rex focus on offense in next years draft. We desperately need a # 1 WR to play alongside Decker & Kerley. I would be shocked & disappointed if we go defense with our # 1 pick in the 15 Draft.Sad

Well, I'd like to see idzik shock us and sign Dez Bryant...but he's got a meatball where his brain goes, so I expect us to focus on the draft as Hobson pointed out also.

Torey Smith would be my top WR option next year if we go free agency, Maclin has also looked absolutely amazing this year...but could this guy become available?

Sounds crazy, but they'll have Sanders, Welker, and rookie Latimer to go at WR with Julius Thomas at TE...

Demaryius Thomas - WR - Broncos
Demaryius Thomas caught four passes for 31 yards in Sunday's Week 3 overtime loss at Seattle.
Thomas did salvage his day slightly with a tough, game-tying two-point conversion near the end of regulation. But he was off his game again, dropping a couple bubble screens and luckily avoiding a fumble on replay. He did see a lot of Richard Sherman, but was not shadowed by any stretch and struggled to get open against Byron Maxwell as well. The good news is that Thomas has the bye to get right and then gets plus matchups against the Cardinals, Jets and 49ers. He's a nice buy-low.

Draft a top receiver and sign a top FA corner.
