We'll have a new coach next year with a total new staff...and a new GM the following year...  This organization is a mess once again...

Maybe next year we can convert a RB to QB and see if that works better than our S to CB experiment.  Here's an idea, use your 12 draft picks and $50 mill in cap space to fill holes. cheers

What a joke this team has become...

All starts with the QB play. The defense has kept the team in games even with the offense not even giving them a breather.
Geno has been all but inept with actual weapons around him.  The more he plays the more i realize why he dropped out of the 1st round last year.  He is would have been no better than a late 3rd round pick.

Sorry on my phone and can't quote. Out offense is bad because after Decker and Kerley we have nothing. Not so sure another qb would make things that much better . If Vick comes in and gives us a spark, cool. I just think it's lack of talent. Nelson , salas, Cumberland, scare no one.

In all due respect, our offense isn't good because our QB is horrd.  Take Matt Ryan out of Atlanta and the same could be said.  Take Stafford out of this game and the same could be said.
A bad to mediocre QB can make all the weapons around you disapear instantaneously.  A good QB like Russel Wilson, with no weapons last year, won the superbowl.

Though as i said before, Rex Ryan has no back bone.  He will stick with Geno until we are officially eliminated from Playoff contention.  This, if Rex chooses this route will be the end of his era here.

IMHO, it would benefit Geno to sit and watch a veteran run Marty's west coast offense.  Maybe when his number is called again he can demonstrate what he learned.

As of now, Geno is worse than any QB i have seen in a while today.

If Rex was showing no backbone, he'd make the switch to Vick. Vick might win the team another game or two this year, and save Rex's job. But it doesn't let the organization know whether Geno is the guy or not. Sanchez got four years, which was too much. Geno deserves two full years.

Ivory and the other RBs are pretty good, as is the OL.

Mark was a top 5 pick and merited the time to develop. Geno is a 2nd rounder where all Jets fans can live with if he gets benched. Geno is just not showing anything. Rex knows he's in hot water. He needs to win and win now.
Rex had all the time to survive with Mark and was stubborn not to bench him in '12 when the season was still much alive.

Vick may give this offense a spark. Remember, Vinny did it for us in '98 with a young Glenn Foley not producing.

I'am just so tired of losing with inept QB's.

You may be tired of it, but switching to Vick is not in the best long-term interests of the franchise.

When Geno is on, he's pretty good. He needs to force Marty to trust him more.

Let's not forget that despite the record, the Jets were 8th in offense going into this week. Eighth in offense, second in defense, and 1-2.
