Well, he got every chance to prove them wrong!
Looking back it amazes me that for the most part that he was not crucified by them earlier in his career. I think he got a fair shake by the media considering what the team has endured since the butt fumble game...

He really is delusional if he thinks his own inabilities had no role in his being cut.
Maybe if he stopped blaming others and worried about his own game, he would have started living up to his draft status.

My humble opinion tells me that if Hill can't be honest with himself , and realize his shortcomings, he'll never improve as a football player.

IMO the same quality in him that has him blaming the media for his failure instead of himself is the reason he failed in the 1st plce

He must have been REALLY bad in practice to get cut, because it isn't like we have so many great receivers that we HAD to cut such a high draft pick so soon into his career. I think, in a similar situation, most teams would have given most players at least one more season.
More generally, though, I do think it is true that the media push for certain things to happen. Once they get on something, they are like sharks. I just hope that Hill is wrong, because I definitely don't want the media to influence Idzik's decisions.
