Get a real GM in here and let his first order of business getting this contract done. As if Idzik couldn't f up any worse, why not let your best player dangle in the wind and be under paid. What a disaster hire. Wilkerson deserves to be treated better than this.

Jets owner Woody Johnson said the team will discuss RE Muhammad Wilkerson's contract situation next week.
Wilkerson is scheduled to make $6.97 million after the Jets exercised his 2015 option. He graded out as a top-five 3-4 end by PFF despite missing three games and is a prime extension candidate. Wilkerson, 25, could command a deal in the range of $12M annually. The Jets have a projected $48.9 million in cap space.
