Jets @ Dolphins Game thread

Sunday Dec. 28th @ 1 in Miami. I have never started a game thread before, but noticed we did not have one ?

Biggest question of the game is Rex Ryan coaching his last game of his 6 year Jet career ?

Is Geno Smith going to have another huge final game in front of his family in Miami like last year and knock us out of a top 5 pick in the draft ?

Who has more to play for, the Jets for Rex, or the Flippers revenge game because we knocked them out of the playoffs last season in the final week in Miami ?

Will Idzik & Rex & staff be fired the next day on Black Monday ?

I hate it that this is the Jets last game of the season. I like the Knicks, Rangers & Mets; however, there is no team like the NY Jets!

If the Jets needed this game to make the playoffs it would be a loss.
Seeing how a loss would benefit the Jets for draft purposes they'll probably squeak out a meaningless win.

Cy some posters seem to bring the team luck when they open game threads others just the opposite. I hope you fit in to the latter category.

Those undrafted rookies we have at CB have really held up and Ryan Tannehill and his death by 100 5 yard passes really sucks (ask Mike Wallace)...I agree we win 13-10.

Depends on who suits up: if Wilkerson, Ivory, Harvin, Mangold all sit out, we can lose big.

I just hope that guys like Landry, Colon and Pace never see the field.  Although my guess is that Rex sees himself in a victory celebration getting carried off the field by his veterans.  So I expect to see a heavy dose of Pace, Landry and Colon.

I think Landry was listed as questionable yesterday. He needs to rest up.

The "Fire Idzik Crazies" are going to Miami too.

Now's as good a time as any to see what we have in IK, Reilly, and Dozier. But I doubt it'll happen. It'll be more weak pass rush from Calvin Pace. And a few stupid penalties by Colon.

There is a huge difference between picking 3rd or 6th this is a big game.

You just have to laugh. Those two series summarize this season.

We didn't block a single dolphin in that play. It's like the center snapped the ball then jogged to the sideline.

I really do love Folk he was always clutch making FGs when I wanted him to now he is just as clutch missing them. I have to think his bum hip is helping though.

FG is better than nothing but I wish they weren't as bad in the red zone as we are.

Opening up the O and looking good that hurts. Why couldn't we try that when it mattered, now it only hurts.
