Do we stay at a 3 - 4 or switch to a 4 - 3 and maybe a little of both? Granted it will be up to the next coaching staff.

No brainer for me, I'm a 4-3 guy. Coples looked better @ DE than OLB. In passing situations, I'd go 4-2-5.

I think Sheldon Richardson would be an awesome 4-3 DE with Harrison and Mo inside

I have always preferred the 4-3 but could live with either as long as it is played well

Harris would probably not be part of that plan with Davis at the MLB position. We'd be set along the DL, but would need some speed at OLB. I'd welcome the change.

I prefer the 4-3, but would have to be convinced the personnel match the system.
What I don't like is the idea of any sort of base nickel package, or anything that only has six in the box, like a 4-2 or 3-3. When the absolute strength of your team is the front seven, why would you want to make it your front six instead?

Re: 3 - 4 or 4 - 3 ??
I know this sounds crazy, but I think Sheldon Richardson 6'3"/294 would be a great LB. He was a part time WR, punt & kick returner in H.S.. My point is that he is very fast and quick to react to the ball. He would have to drop some weight. How about this line-up in a 4-3:
DE - Wilkerson
DT - Ellis or Barnes
DT - Snack & Douzable or Finau
DE - Coples & Hyder
OLB - Davis
MLB - Richardson (he would be a monster of a MLB)
OLB - Reilly, Cunningham or draft pick.
Note: I'm assuming Harris is a cap hit, Pace, & Babin will be gone ? I won't tackle the DB's until I see Miliner & McDougle healthy.
