Kelly, hands down.
The other three aren't even in his league and have nowhere near the résumé of winning that old man has produced in his career.
The problem in GETTING Kelly, IS the big problem.
He LOVES coaching the younger kids, he really does, and takes them into his heart.
So many of his ex-student athletes look upon him as the surrogate "father they never had".
It's highly improbable that Kelly would even want an NFL HC gig.

Pretty strong words coming from you, Hobs. I'm not that familiar with Kelly's transgressions. Is there a college coach you like for the Jets?

i've read some unfalttering stuff about kelly over the year on the michigan board. this goes back to when he was in consideration for the michigan job (before he went to ND). i can't recall specifics, other than the well publicized story about how kelly insisted on having a practice and sending up some kid to film the practice in the middle of a severe storm. the kid died

as to college coaches, in general, i don't like college coaches moving to the pros. at least ones with no pro experience. very few colleges run pro style offenses, so i look at chip kelly as an outlier of successful college coaches transitioning to the pros.
i'd rather an up-and-coming pro coordinator over someone like sumlin or malzahn

Fair enough. I'd forgotten about that poor kid who died filming practice in the high winds. Yes, that was really irresponsible of Kelly, and I agree it shows a lack of judgement.
